Absence.

I have been pretty absent from this things lately, mainly because I've taken a good break from the internet, which has been lovely.

So much has happened, I've moved out into a little place in Newtown (just down the road from my church which is rad!) and I got a job; the job that I blogged about having a bad interview. I got through three interviews & then was offerred the position, crazy huh!? It's been a whirlwind couple of weeks! I don't actually start the position until June 1st, but man, getting there was pretty heavy; I had to do a presentation that was due the Monday after the weekend I moved & then I had to try & get them to raise the offerred salary because it was way too low!
God is so good, I have no idea how I'd get through life without knowing of His complete & utter control over things.

The move to Newtown has been a massvie change; although I used to spend a large proportion of my time in Newtown, living here is a whole other story. We live surrounded by gothic shops, buddhist centres, cat apprecitation societies, brothels and homeless; it makes me feel... so... normal. I've already had one run-in with a crazy, yelling down the street, thank goodness my place has great security. Our (our, meaning mine & my flatmate Reanna) place is great, the convienence is amazing - I'm a minutes walk from everywhere. The main downside is that from about 7.30-10.45pm every night the Enmore theatre (my new neighbour) has their air conditioning on which vibrates quite loudly through our walls... pretty bad; I'm hoping I get used to it, quickly!!

Another clear sign that I've moved out of home is that I'm watching Home&Away as I write this. Only people living out of home working full time jobs watch home&away... boring.

I've been a bit homesick this week and so today, on my day off, I went home. I spent some cuddle time with my pups, breakfast with mum and the afternoon at the world press exhibition and a beer at the pub with dad. I have the greatest parents.
